Academy of College Readiness and Vocational Studies (Pre-Law & Pre-Med)
Academy of College Readiness and Vocational Studies with Emphasis on Pre-Law and Pre-Med
The Academy of College Readiness and Vocational Studies with an Emphasis on Pre-Med and Pre-Law Program will prepare students for collegiate studies through a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that is integrated with professional medical and law terminology as well as standards emphasizing integrity, communication, academic excellence, global connections and a passion for life-long learning. Students have the opportunity to think critically, creatively, and to care about the community with mature attitudes toward academic studies that enable successful completion with a holistic approach. The Academy’s focus incorporates direct instruction, problem and inquiry-based learning, as well as scientific methodology in daily instruction that embraces and nurtures diversity and multiculturalism as it facilitates student growth and development in real-world learning situations.

Advanced Academic Academy: A3
The Advanced Academic Academy: A3 is designed to offer academically talented students the opportunity to attend rigorous courses while earning high-school credits, thus making them eligible for dual enrollment in high school. Students who complete this innovative program can earn up to eight high school credits. The Advanced Academic Academy: A3 will offer students the opportunity to earn high school credits in HOPE, English I Honors, Spanish I and II, Debate Honors, Geometry Honors, Algebra I Honors, and Biology I Honors.

Advanced Achiever’s Academy
Advanced Achiever’s Academy
Olsen Middle School has developed the Advanced Achiever’s Academy to increase the level of academic rigor and educational opportunities available to students beginning in the sixth grade. Olsen Middle School will enable teachers, parents, and students to work collaboratively within the South Broward Innovation Zone to facilitate accelerated curriculum, increased opportunities for students, and ease transition into academia as students matriculate from elementary to the middle school level. Successful completion of the Advanced Achiever’s Academy will result in the student completing 5-7 high school credits by the 8th grade.

College Prep
The College Prep Program is a rigorous academic program taught by gifted endorsed teachers that includes advanced coursework in literature, mathematics, foreign language, humanities, and the sciences which prepares students for success in high school Advanced Placement (AP) courses and college-level work. This innovative program includes virtual field trips through Distance Learning, project-based learning incorporating technology through GLIDES, and field trips to Florida colleges and universities. Upon completion of the program, your child may earn up to six high school credits.
