Schoolyard Gardens
Schools are provided with a comprehensive curriculum supplement for teaching health, science, language arts, mathematics, and social studies through the use of school gardens.
Florida Agriculture in the Classroom curriculum is used and implemented to connect edible gardening with interdisciplinary instruction in the K-12 classroom. Teachers are provided professional development with applicable curriculum to implement in their classes. Gardening for Nutrition is one of many resources from Florida Agriculture in the Classroom that will be used and implemented in the K-12 classroom. Other textbooks by the Florida Ag in the Classroom are Gardening for Grades and STEM Up Gardening.
