The Finance Office has received numerous awards. The Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) has received the Distinguished Budget Award and Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for over 20 consecutive years. In addition, BCPS has received the Meritorious Budget Award and was awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) for over 20 consecutive years.
