Robotics enhances student interest and involvement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in every subject. Students are engaged in hands-on, experimental and sustainable robotics engineering programs. Robotics prepares students to become future innovators with an increased interest in STEM subject areas and pursue STEM-related careers. Through partnerships with Code.org and grants from the National Science Foundation and the REC Foundation for VEX robotics, Broward County Public Schools is providing opportunities for all students in computer science and robotics.
