  • Project RED (Rigorous Engineering Design)

    This program is for high-achieving students with an interest in the field of engineering and is available by application only. Students wishing to apply must complete Algebra 1 prior to ninth grade and must have a minimum middle school grade point average of 3.0. Students must also earn a Level 3 or higher on the reading portion of the FSA.

  • Cambridge Programme

    Cambridge AICE Program (Advanced International Certificate of Education)

    The Cambridge International Program prepares students for college and careers by offering a curriculum of rigor that is recognized internationally, preparing them for post-secondary coursework, and allowing the opportunity for students to earn college credits while in high school. The Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) courses will allow our students the opportunity to earn the International AICE diploma, an internationally renowned special diploma that is recognized by colleges and universities all over the world.

    Dual Enrollment

    Coral Springs High School (CSHS) has built a strong partnership with Broward College to provide a unique educational opportunity for college-ready students. We continue to increase enrollment and offer the largest on-campus dual enrollment program in Broward County. College-bound students who meet the requirements for dual enrollment will be able to take college courses through Broward College which provide an opportunity for students to engage in a rigorous curriculum that integrates core academics necessary for a four-year degree, while completing a high school diploma. Students in our program receive a scope of services focused on personalizing their educative experience beyond regular school standards to meet the post secondary challenges of the 21st century by encouraging students to develop patterns of behavior that promote academic and social success on a global scale.

    Linking Education and Employment Outcomes (LEEO)

    Coral Springs High School (CSHS) has built an alliance with Forest Glen Middle (FGM) to provide vertical articulation for Linking Education and Employment Outcomes (LEEO). The LEEO project is a unique educational opportunity for students to become certified in various vocations in tandem with becoming employment ready. Broward College and Citrix Corporation are in partnership with the LEEO project helping to raise the standards on vocational programs, as well as providing real-life working situations through project-based learning. Strong mapping between academic success and life-long learning is linked to the collegial relationships among Coral Springs High and Forest Glen Middle. Our students will receive a scope of educational practical experiences beyond regular high school standards to be forerunners in career and college readiness.

    Sports Medicine

    Everglades High School Sports Medicine Innovative Program is designed for highly motivated students who are interested in pursuing careers in the area of sports medicine. This program will provide a rigorous curriculum focusing on experiential learning in the areas of science, health and wellness. Some of the features of this innovative program include two consecutive blocks of science during each school year to enable students to complete hands-on experiments, university level research, and clinical observations; as well as AP level coursework. An additional feature of this program is Industry Certification in the area of Health and Wellness. Everglades High School Sports Medicine participants will enter as ninth graders and will progress through the program as a cohort group.
