Positive Community Norms & Social Norms and Substance Abuse Prevention
BCPS uses evidence-based social norms marketing (see the prosocial club webpage) in many prevention subject to shift people’s behaviors, attitudes or opinions. Examples include tobacco, alcohol (see Project Brain webpage), driving and texting, sexual activity, drug use, and bullying.
