The Department of Teacher Development & Support is committed to the advancement of field experience programs and the success of candidates for future employment as classroom teachers, counselors, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, among others. This work contributes to building a workforce of highly qualified professionals, who are dedicated to improving student achievement and well-being.
Teacher Development & Support works collaboratively with colleges and universities across the nation to provide students with opportunities to apply the knowledge they have gained with supervised practice in the field. Students gain hands-on learning through clinical practice, assisting teachers in the classroom, and designing and delivering lessons.
