The Museum of Coral Springs History provides a detailed overview of Florida’s first master-planned community. The city’s early history began with native American camps in flourishing farmland, then into the fast-growing family community of 134,000 residents as it stands today. Visitors will move through the decades as they learn about the innovation of city developers with hands-on activities including a custom creative interactive touch screen. Young children will learn about the city’s early community influencers through a mail-sorting activity utilizing repurposed brass mailboxes from the city's first post office.
Tours are guided by informed and engaged docents who narrate how the city with everything under the sun began from just a hill of beans.
Conveniently located inside Mullins Park, the Museum of Coral Springs History provides a great pairing opportunity with the Coral Springs Museum of Art for a full day of culture in one location.
