    Office of Early Learning Family Tips for Four-Year-Olds

    Your child’s learning and development starts at home. You are your child’s first teacher. Your child’s development of values, learning skills and social skills begins at birth. The Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards will help you support your child’s learning and development from birth to age five. These resources will help you understand more about your child’s development and find activities and information to use at home with your child.

    Broward Bookworms provides FREE BOOKS to Broward County families with children between 0 to 5 years of age.  Families can sign up to receive new books in English or Spanish, which also includes an activity guide.  Must be a Broward County Resident with a child 5 years old or younger. Limit two (2) bookworm book bundles per household. Bookworms is funded and administered by the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, The Division of Early Learning, Broward Reads, Scholastic Books, and Brown & Brown Insurance.  To register to received your FREE BOOKS, visit https://www.elcbroward.org/bookworms.
