Procedure for Applying for a Non-Instructional Support Vacancy
Applicants must submit documentation (Resumé, HS Diploma/GED, Certificates, etc.) listed in the job posting to the location that is advertising a vacant position.
Substitute Facilities Serviceperson and School Food Service Substitute Worker applicants must be processed for employment prior to being hired by visiting the Employment Center. All newly hired candidates must undergo a security background check. You will be required to register online for an appointment for fingerprinting within 24 hours once you have completed your employment paperwork in the Employment Center. Registration information for fingerprinting will be provided at that time.
Campus Monitor/Security Specialist Vacancy Qualifications
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Education Development (GED) Testing Program
- Meet the minimum year(s) of work experience as indicated in the job description
- Special qualifications as indicated in the Campus Monitor/Security Specialist job description
Clerical Vacancy Qualifications
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Education Development (GED) Testing Program
- Special high school diploma accepted, as indicated in the job description
- College degree or semester hours when indicated in the job description
- Meet the minimum year (s) of work experience if applicable, as indicated in the job description
- Special qualifications as indicated in the clerical job description
Temporary Clerical Worker Vacancy Qualifications (Temporary)
Standard high school diploma, Special high school diploma, or satisfactory completion of an approved General Education Development (GED) Testing Program
Child Care Monitor Vacancy Qualifications
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Education Development (GED) Testing Program
- Meet the minimum year(s) of experience with children when applicable
- College degree in the appropriate field when applicable
- Additional requirements as indicated in the job description
Education Support Professionals (Paraprofessionals) Vacancy Qualifications
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Education Development (GED) Testing Program and passing score (minimum 457) on the ParaPro Test. Click here to view registration information from ParaPro test.
- An official transcript from an accredited university reflecting a minimum of 60 credit hours or an Associate's degree or higher conferred.
- Teacher Assistants - Teacher Assisting Certification
- Special qualifications as indicated in the paraprofessional job descriptions
Maintenance Vacancy Qualifications
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Education Development (GED) Testing Program
- Years of work experience if applicable
- Special qualifications as indicated in the Maintenance/Facilities Service job descriptions
