    IS-100.SCa: INTRODUCTION TO THE INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM FOR SCHOOLS

    Description: This course provides the foundation for higher level ICS training. It describes the history, features and principles, and organizational structure of the Incident Command System. It also explains the relationship between ICS and the National Incident Management System (NIMS).

     

    IS-200.b: ICS FOR SINGLE RESOURCES AND INITIAL ACTION INCIDENTS

    Description: This course is designed to enable personnel to operate efficiently during an incident or event within the Incident Command System (ICS). This course focuses on the management of single resources.

     

    IS-700.a: NATIONAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (NIMS) AN INTRODUCTION

    Description: This course provides training on and resources for personnel who require a basic understanding of the National Incident Management System (NIMS). 

     

    IS-800.b: NATIONAL RESPONSE FRAMEWORK AN INTRODUCTION

    Description: This course provides an introduction to the National Response Framework. 

    This course is currently being reviewed and revised to incorporate new information from the recently revised National Response Framework. This course will remain available by FEMA for completion until the revised course is implemented. No date has been given by FEMA when this will take place.
