Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is proud to announce that eight exceptional students have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) as National Merit $2,500 Scholarship and National Merit Corporate-sponsored Scholarship winners in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. Congratulations to Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) 2025 Silver Knight winners and honorable mentions!
The prestigious 67th annual Miami Herald Silver Knight Awards were held on May 14, 2025, at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami. The ceremony recognized 935 outstanding high school seniors nominated from Broward and Miami-Dade public, charter, and private schools.
The Silver Knight program honors exceptional graduating seniors for their academic excellence, leadership, talent, and dedication to community service. Winners receive a $2,000 scholarship, a Silver Knight statue, and a medallion. Honorable mentions receive a $500 scholarship and a plaque.
BCPS is incredibly proud of all the students who were nominated for this distinguished award. Their hard work and commitment to their communities are truly inspiring.
