On Friday, February 14, 2025, Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) and communities across Broward County will host A Day of Service and Love in commemoration of the 17 loved ones tragically taken and those injured as a result of the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018.
A Day of Service and Love is an early release day that has been designated as a ‘service-learning’ day, for students, staff, and volunteers to come together to support each other through a variety of community service activities at schools across the county.
In addition, on February 14 at 10:17 a.m., BCPS will observe a moment of reflection in honor of the 17 Fallen Eagles.
Broward County Public Schools extends its heartfelt gratitude to all esteemed community partners for their invaluable contributions and unwavering support.

Allows individuals to instantly report suspicious activity to the appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials. The app is free and available for download on Apple and Android mobile devices. The Florida Legislature directed the development of this tool through the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act.
Supported by Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) - allows individuals in Broward County the ability to communicate with law enforcement seamlessly and report potential threats and suspicious activity. The app is free and available for download on Apple and Android mobile devices.
