Avis Car Rental

The State of Florida Department of Management Services has a contract with Avis and Budget that is allowed to be used for Florida State employees, including Broward County School employee's leisure/personal travel. DMS suggests that all eligible users of the contract book their rental car needs though the State’s Reservation Portal, here is that link - https://www.carrental.com/abgPartners/sof/. The portal will autofill the correct codes for the type of travel you are booking (BCSB Business Travel, or employee Leisure Travel).  This is a very special benefit provided by the State. It cannot be shared with friends or family unless they are also a Florida government public servant. Upon arrival of picking up your rented vehicle, you will be asked to show proof that you are a current School Board of Broward County employee.  This can be documented via a School Board Identification or a current paycheck stub.
