Broward Immigrant Support Plan

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS), being the sixth largest school district in our nation, includes a diverse group of students. We are proud to recognize and respect their varying backgrounds and cultures as part of our unique school system. Our District values include the tenets that all students learn when their individual needs are met, that the diversity of our community is valued and embraced, and the assurance of equitable education and resources.

Today, students have the constitutional right to attain equal access to a free education, regardless of their immigration status or their families’ status. In alignment with the National Education Association, BCPS will enroll student immigrants without discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin.
