Application Process

Finding a Position
  • Broward County Public Schools has a fully integrated ON-LINE application system (Frontline Education). All candidates (internal current teachers and new applicants) must complete the new online application to be considered for an instructional position. If you have already completed your profile, proceed to Steps 3 & 4 below.

The Talent Acquisition & Operations (Instructional) Department assists candidates with their job search process; however, principals make the final hiring decision for their school.

To make your job search with Broward County Public Schools a successful one, follow the steps below to apply for a position.

    STEP 1
Verify that you meet the requirements for Florida Certification.

    STEP 2
Complete the On-line Instructional Application for Broward County Public Schools.

    STEP 3
Review the Instructional Vacancies posted online.

    STEP 4
Modify your application and apply for positions.

    STEP 5
The principal or administrator will review applicants who have applied for a specific job, and identify the candidates to interview based on the candidates qualifications and requirements for the position. If you are selected for an interview a school representative will contact you directly. Be sure your uploaded resume includes all your contact information (i.e. cell phone, email, etc.).

If you need more individualized guidance and/or are interested in speaking with a recruiter, please schedule a virtual consultation.
