Facilities Division

The Facilities Division is responsible for the management, planning, design, construction, maintenance, and overall implementation of the District’s on-going capital building and improvement programs. Capital programs include school maintenance, new schools, capacity additions, demolition, and renovation/remodeling of existing facilities and infrastructure in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

The Facilities Division is committed to providing safe and supportive environments for all Broward County Public School students and staff through cost effective and timely delivery of high-quality facility support services.

Goals and Objectives

• Leverage 21st Century Best Practices in Facilities Planning to ensure that every dollar spent in BCPS provides optimal utility.
• Utilize various construction delivery methods to construct new schools, build capacity additions, and renovate/remodel existing facilities in the execution of the SMART General Obligation Bond Program and every other construction project.
• Provide all District schools, campuses, and administrative sites with high quality and efficient facility maintenance support services.
