The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:
- an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
- a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
- a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

After Care Overview
Hispanic Unity of Florida, Private Provider Approved by the School Board It is a Youth Development Program. The program provides struggling high school students with opportunities for academic remediation and enrichment career exploration, community civic engagement, hands-on experiential learning activities and other skills-building activities designed to promote youth development, as well as school and future success.
Activities and Services Offered:Our unity 4 Teens program provides:
- Supper/ snacks
- Academic assessments
- Individualize academic guidance
- Support students to meet graduation requirements
- Credit recovery
- Homework assistance
- Tutoring
- Science projects assistance
- Math
- Career exploration activities
- Music
- Dance
- Art
- Poetry
- Culinary
- Gardening
- Health and wellness activities
- Relaxation techniques and mindfulness sessions
- College tours
