Forest Hills Elementary School Celebrates 50 Years of Excellence
Forest Hills Elementary School is proud to announce its 50th anniversary celebration on September 6, 2024. The school, located at 3100 N.W. 85th Ave., Coral Springs, has been a cornerstone of the community since its opening in 1974.
"We are thrilled to mark this significant milestone," said Principal Barbara Rothman. “Our school’s legacy is built on a foundation of dedicated teachers, supportive families, and a commitment to providing outstanding academic support for our students.”
Throughout its history, Forest Hills Elementary has fostered academic excellence, nurtured community involvement, and hosted numerous events, performances and festivals. The school has produced successful alumni who continue to give back to their alma mater and the community.
To commemorate this milestone, the school is hosting a special assembly on September 6, featuring a time capsule prepared by students. In the evening, a 1970s-themed anniversary bash will take place at 6 p.m., inviting families to join in the festivities with music, food trucks, face painting, arts and crafts, a costume contest and more. (Media are invited to cover the evening anniversary bash event.)
These events will bring together students, parents and families to celebrate the “A” rated school’s rich history and legacy.
