Equity Leadership Club - Ms. Bethany McAfee

-
The Equity Leadership Club is a project-based club where students create engaging activities for the school to participate in. Equity is when each person or group is represented with fairness. The goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all students at Sheridan Technical High School. Join Equity Leadership Club and let’s shape a safe school environment together.
Equity Leadership will be participating in a Teen Summit on March 18, 2024.
We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month in room 121 with Ms. McAfee. See you there!

Equity Awareness Poster Contest
The Equity Leadership Group had an Equity Awareness Poster Contest to showcase student work! Students had to create a poster that answers the prompt: “To me, equity means _____.” This could have been a personal definition of what equity means to the student. This could be a group or solo project. Posters were due January 20, 2022. The winning posters were displayed on the monitors in school.

Friendsgiving Fund Raiser 2023
The Human Relations Council is kicking off their Friendsgiving fundraiser. Here's the idea: $1 for one photo. Submit a picture of you and your friends (No inappropriate pictures, please!). The best thing is your photo will be displayed on every display board throughout the school around Thanksgiving!
