Key Club - Mrs. Barbara DiAlberto

Key Club 2022-23
  • You are invited to Key Club! On behalf of Key Club, every student is welcome, and we encourage you to join us as we start the year off right! This club gives you the opportunity to make a difference in your school and community, as well as gain service hours and build up your resume for college, scholarships and/or work. We are already planning community service. This year, we will be helping with the Haunted Trail for UNICEF Neonatal Program, raising money for freshwater wells in other countries, participating in Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society, making Hygiene Bags for the homeless, making sock puppets for children at a nearby preschool, taking care of the street we adopted in Fort Lauderdale, helping with Davie Elementary's Holiday Party, cleaning Fort Lauderdale beach, helping disabled children at Execptional Riders, and so much more! Make sure to read your emails for further information. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or any of the officers.
We meet on the first and third Mondays of each month with Mrs. DiAlbero in the Cafeteria.

Sincerely, Julie P. and Luciana T., Presidents

    Key Club Food Drive

    Davie Elementary Food Drive

Members help organize and sort donated food into bags. Afterward, members make sure that each bag has an equal number of items. All the bags are donated to low-income families.

  • Haunted Trail

    Haunted Trail 22- 23

2023: Hello Key Clubbers. Unfortunately, we have been informed by Division 24A's Lieutenant Governor that there will be no Haunted Trail this year due to weather, pricing, and other issues. Sorry for the inconvenience.

In the past, Division 24A sets up a trail of horror where volunteers from different schools set up their area with a specific horror movie theme. Volunteers dress in scary costumes to scare participants who purchased tickets. The $5 fee per ticket was donated to charity. This event has multiple dates and opportunities to receive community service hours.

  • Relay for Life

Hi! I (Barbra DiAlberto) just signed up for a really important event (in memory of my dad, who had lung cancer, and my mom, who had emphysema) and I'd love it if you'd join me. It's Relay For Life of Broward Power (Davie, Cooper City, & Weston), and it takes place on April 22.Your donations help the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking cancer research, prevention and treatment, and crucial patient care programs.  Please consider joining me at Relay For Life to celebrate and support cancer survivors. If you are a cancer survivor and would like to be recognized on April 22 (yes, we have goodies for you), please let me know. Or, you can simply make a donation to help save lives, either under Barbara DiAlberto or one of our students. Go to: https://mobileacs.org/rt6bvg
