Principal's Message

  • Principal Tienjaroonkul

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students and Families,

It is my pleasure to welcome everyone to Silver Trail Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year. As the proud principal of this amazing school, I cannot wait for the exciting year ahead! Our mission here at Silver Trail Middle School is to create personalized learning environments that support all students and our community.

During the 2023-24 school year we experienced tremendous growth in academics, athletics, the arts and community service. Along with the tremendous learning gains our students experienced in the classroom, we were District Finalists in both boys' and girls' basketball and participated in our first Plywood Regatta.  Our students continue to work hard and succeed at everything they do and demonstrate what it means to be a Mustang! We look forward to even more successes during the 2024-25 school year!

As a graduate of the Broward School system and a Pembroke Pines resident, I believe in creating a school environment that is designed to support our community.  My team and I are dedicated to creating strong relationships with our families, and I am a strong believer in the importance of open communication. I encourage you to reach out to any of us with any questions or concerns you may have or, just to introduce yourself.

Safety and security is extremely important, and we will be doing a variety of safety drills throughout the school year. Students will be expected to be in uniform and wear their school IDs at all times while on campus.  Visitors to campus must provide a valid photo ID to enter the premises and must enter through our single point of entry. Most importantly, I want to remind all students and families that safety is everyone’s responsibility, so please, if you see something, please say something.

Classes begin promptly at 9:10 AM and dismissal begins at 3:40 PM.  Student arrival begins at 8:40 AM.  We encourage all students to arrive early and ready to learn.

I am privileged and honored to serve as the principal of Silver Trail Middle School and believe that it takes everyone working together to achieve success. I am looking forward to seeing our returning students and families, and meeting our new students and families. Please remember, we are always available to offer support and to focus on what is best for our students and community.

    Thank you and Go Mustangs!

    Sincerely,

    Mr. J. Tienjaroonkul
