Mrs. Nadine Smith, Assistant Principal, Grade 7
Greetings Mustang Family,
Welcome to Silver Trail Middle School. My name is Mrs. Nadine Smith. I am the Assistant Principal for 7th Grade.
I am a dedicated educator with over twenty years of experience in fostering a positive school culture and student success. As the Assistant Principal overseeing 7th Grade, I am passionate about implementing student-centered educational practices, fostering shared decision-making processes, building strong relationships, and engaging the community to create a supportive learning environment.
I firmly believe in putting students at the center of every decision. I recognize that each student is unique, with individual strengths, challenges, and aspirations. A student-centered focus ensures that all policies, programs, and initiatives are designed to meet the diverse needs of every student.
I believe that involving all stakeholders in the decision-making process not only leads to better outcomes but also fosters a sense of ownership and commitment to the school's mission and goals. Through collaborative discussions and transparent communication, everyone is able to contribute to the school community. Building positive relationships is at the heart of my approach to education. I value open communication, empathy, and respect in all interactions. By establishing trust and understanding, we (as a school-community) create a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel valued and empowered to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
I look forward to a great academic year.
Mrs. Nadine Smith
