Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I sincerely hope this message finds all our families doing well! It continues to be an honor to serve as the Principal of Sawgrass Elementary. This is my 8th year as Principal of Sawgrass, and I know that this upcoming year will be one of the best ones yet. Sawgrass has a strong tradition of academic achievement, community involvement and providing an inclusive culture for all. I have held the belief throughout my career that schools need parents and families to play an active role in our children’s education for each child to truly reach their highest potential. I encourage everyone to participate, whether it is by joining our PTA, SAC or SAF, volunteering at the school, or by just keeping in close communication with our child’s teachers. Please know that our door is always open to you, and we are here to serve. We are dedicated to and will work to provide the best possible educational experience for every student. I look forward to all the new school year will bring. We will have challenges, successes and fun!
