Marie Duperval - 9th Grade Assistant Principal
Hello, Dillard High 6-12 Community!
I am delighted to introduce myself as your new intern principal and the administrator for the 9th grade. With over 20 years of experience in education, I've dedicated my career to advocating for students, particularly those from diverse backgrounds. As a Haitian immigrant, I bring a unique perspective shaped by the experiences of adapting to a new culture and school system.
I founded the first Community School for adults in Lauderdale Lakes, focusing on English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and launched the NEO-International Academy for newcomers. One of my proudest achievements is implementing the first Haitian Creole language program in Broward County, driven by my commitment to meeting the diverse needs of our community.
This year, I am thrilled to work closely with the Class of 2028 as their dedicated administrator. It is an incredible honor to join the dynamic Dillard team, and I am eager to collaborate with our talented educators and staff to enhance our students' experiences and uphold the legacy of excellence that defines Dillard High 6-12.
I look forward to getting to know each of you and contributing to our shared mission of making Dillard an exceptional place for our students to learn and grow. My door is always open, and I am eager to listen, learn, and collaborate with our wonderful community.
Warm regards,
Marie Duperval
