We provide three tracks at SLMS:  STEM Science, STEM Engineering, and STEM Computer/Business Systems.  Each one of the tracks culminates in a high school level course, or capstone course, in the 8^th Grade year.  For science, it is Forensic Science, a high school level elective.  For the Computer/Business track, the 8^th grade course, Introduction to Information Technology, fulfills a high school level computer course on digital information technology that is a pre-requisite credit and offer the student the opportunity to become certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist.  The engineering capstone course, Introduction to Engineering, fulfills the high school level pre-requisite course necessary to move into higher level engineering studies.
