Clubs and organizations are a great way to help develop character and the skills that will benefit you in school, your career, and in life. Skills like commitment, leadership, effective communication, and being able to work successfully in a group all come from participating in a club or organization. Joining a club is a great way to make friends, develop leadership skills, and boost your college resumé.

Cheerleading: Grades K-2
Cheerleading Grades K - 2 Mrs. Correa:
Do you have school spirit? Get your pom-poms and become a Mirror Lake Cheerleader. Learn cheers, jumps and acrobatics while becoming a spirit filled student. Teamwork is a MUST. You will perform at school functions. Cheerleading outfit is provided for the duration of the club. Outfit should be returned at the conclusion of the session.
$140.00/per student (8 Tuesdays - ends April 30th)

Sports Activities: Grades 2-5
Sports Activities Grades 2 - 5 Ms. Garrido:
This camp is designed to keep students moving and active through a variety of sports. This will provide the students the opportunity to improve their skills or learn something new! Practicing good sportsmanship is mandatory! Please make sure you wear your sneakers and comfortable attire that day.
$100/per student (8 Mondays - ends April 22nd)

Art and Crafts Grades K - 5 Ms. Garrido:
Are you creative? Do you like expressing yourself through arts and crafts? This club will build the talents and skills of students in regard to creative expression. Please join and let's get crafty!
$120.00/per student (8 Tuesdays - ends April 30th)

Cooking: grades K-5
Cooking Grades K - 5 Mrs. Madourie:
Do you enjoy being in the kitchen? Do you enjoy making fun and delicious desserts? Will you be willing to try new foods? This club will teach you the ins and outs of cooking from scratch. It will teach you measurement skills, following step by step directions and working with others. Please inform the teacher of any food allergies ahead of time.

Marcano Movers Grades K - 5 Mrs. Marcano:
Do you like to feel the rhythm of the beat? Are you highly energetic and like to move to music? This club will allow you to get your energy out by learning dance moves and putting them to dance routines. You will perform in school assemblies.
$110.00/per student (8 Mondays - ends April 23rd)

Robotics: K-5
Robotics Grades K-5 Mrs. Rollins:
Do you like to use your hands to create things? Do you like to code? Then join Robotics now! This club is a place where students can gather to create, invent, explore, and discover using a variety of tools and materials such as Dash and Dot, ozobots, and Legos. We do 2.0, and Botley the robot.

Mentorship ProgramThis program is designed to empower our males.
This program was originally started by Mr. Wilson, our former music teacher and will continue under the direction of Mr. Hernandez, our Micro Tech. In addition, Mr. Nolan Murray, ESP will continue to assist our students by building character and giving them a positive outlook in life by promoting positive social awareness and replacing negativity.
