Welcome Parents and Guests to the Forest Hills Elementary School’s Website!
My name is Barbara Rothman, and I am the proud principal of this fabulous, “A” rated school. With 29 years in education, I look forward to serve a fourteenth successful year at this amazing school where kids come first!  This year, our theme is “Lights, Camera, Learn!”  My staff and I are excited to begin our academic expedition and personalize instruction for each child.

Truthfully, I am not only the principal, but I am a former parent of Forest Hills Elementary. Yes, I applied for a reassignment via School Choice and drove my child over 40 miles daily just to bring my cherished gem to Forest Hills Elementary! It was certainly not because of convenience that I brought my daughter to my school. It was solely because of the quality education that I knew my child was going to receive and so will your child!  
Forest Hills is a school for all! We are proud to be home of a unique innovative program called Quantum Leap. This is a highly accelerated program for high achievers and gifted students who demonstrate leadership skills. We also focus on our ESE population both in fully inclusive classrooms as well as our self -contained Autism Spectrum Classrooms. We also have two totally free as well as full-time V.P.K. classrooms with certified elementary school teachers and highly qualified teacher assistants. Our school also offers E.S.E. Programs for a variety of preschoolers. Our mission is to provide all children with a personalized instructional pathway to ensure a solid educational foundation for all of our students!

We believe in enrichment! Forest Hills offers art to all elementary-aged students. We have a music program in which students benefit from a piano lab as well as a fully equipped music lab. Our curriculum also includes a Physical Education special program for our elementary students as well. Our media center is visited by all of our students to ensure that our children have quality books easily accessible to them.

Forest Hills, Home of the Ranger Bears, believes in encouraging students to become a part of our community. Hence, we provide a multitude of afterschool clubs, school hour rewarding activities and expeditions as well as quality aftercare program. Our aftercare program strives to ease your mind while you are away. Rest assured that your cherished gem is cared for and enjoying extracurricular activities while participating in our aftercare program.
Truthfully, I can continue bragging about our dedicated staff and stellar programs. I know that you will love our school and hope that you will call to inquire a bit more.
