Dear Forest Hills’ Families,

My name is Derrick Huff and I have been the proud Assistant Principal at Forest Hills Elementary for the last 9 years. I am starting my 27^th year in education, and look forward to an awesome year. Our staff have worked very hard, and we are an “A” rated school by the Florida Department of Education.  With students, parents, school staff and community partnerships working together as a team, we can certainly move Forest Hills to the next level.

Our teachers are excited and diligently putting the pieces in place to have another year full of learning and memorable occasions. This year, our theme is “Lights, Camera, Learn”, as Forest Hills embarks on 50 years of excellence in education. Through this theme, we will continue to strive, encourage, and highlight the amazing works all our fabulous Ranger Bears do each and every day, while students continuously monitor their own progress on personal, as well as their academic goals.
