  • Clubs and organizations are a great way to help develop character and the skills that will benefit you in school, your career, and in life. Skills like commitment, leadership, effective communication, and being able to work successfully in a group all come from participating in a club or organization. Joining a club is a great way to make friends, develop leadership skills, and boost your college resumé.

  • Chess Club

    Learn the basics of chess and compete against other students.

  • Crochet Club

    Crochet Club:
    Description: Loop, there it is! Learn and practice a practical skill involving yarn. Beginners are welcome! Experienced crocheters can share what they know or just relax while they have uninterrupted yarn time. Bring a skein of yarn and your own hook, or share what we have available. Crocheting can lead to improving fine motor skills. With enough practice, students can create anything from bracelets to blankets and stuffed animals.

  • Junior Honor Society (BCJHS)

    To become a member of JHS, a student must have a minimum of 3.75 GPA during the previous school year (6th or 7th grade), and then they must complete an application. The application process includes teacher recommendations, an essay on what character traits a student possesses and how those traits can serve our school and community, and a list of extra-curricular/leadership positions the student has participated in/held.

  • Best Buddies

    Best Buddies is an organization that fosters one-on-one bonds, with friendships matching ID students and mainstream students. The program helps enhance social communication between buddies and provides opportunities for friendship, leadership, and development. All activities take place on school campus, during school hours.

  • Mixed Ensemble/Show Choir

    This is an after-school chorus. From October to February, it is the Mixed Ensemble. From March to May, it is the Show Choir.

  • Cooking Club

    The FGMS Cooking Club is the perfect place for students to learn how to cook or to hone existing skills. Our goal is to learn recipes and techniques, basic cooking, and baking skills, try new foods and develop healthy eating habits.

  • First Priority (Believers United)

    This is a Christian club to get students together to create a community and build relationships. Our goal is to spread kindness and love to our community on campus and make it a better place. All students, regardless of beliefs, are welcome to join and be cared for.

    A book club is a group of people who meet to discuss a book or books that they have read and express their opinions, likes, dislikes, etc. It is more often called simply a book club, a term that is also used to describe a book sales club, which can cause confusion.

  • Divas of Today & Tomorrow

    DIVAS is a girls mentoring program that involves building confidence through empowerment, learning etiquette, developing strong leaders, and community service.

  • Garden Club

    Come get your hands a little dirty and grow vegetables, herbs, and fruits. We want to bring more beauty to our campus and learn as we do this.

  • Multicultural Club

    The Multicultural club honors and promotes awareness of cultural diversity to bring people together through friendships while gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other's cultures.

  • Student Government Association (S.G.A.)

    SGA serves as the voice of the students. We discuss events, activities, and fundraisers held throughout the year.
