Content Managers may use existing shared apps to place content on pages. Using existing apps promotes the C.O.P.E. (Create Once Publish Everywhere) philosophy for web content. Within BCPS, IT promotes C.O.P.E. because it allows the department or organization that owns the content to manage the content. Hence, when information is updated from the owner/source, BCPS sites deliver content that is accurate and consistent.
