APP
Apps are the content building blocks of any page. A page may include one or more apps. You can create and edit apps as well as share them with other users.
Channel
Channels are the main navigation element on your site. Channels are like file cabinets drawers in which sections are located.
COPE
Create Once Publish Everywhere - see Shared Apps also - This term is used when sharing app information in multiple places but the content is stored in only one place. Use the Shared Apps Library to help build content on your pages.

Directors & Viewers Tab
Use this tab to assign Channel Directors. Channel Directors are users who can edit the Channel workspace and all the sections contained in that particular channel. This tab contains two additional tabs.
Friendly URL
A web address that is easy to read and includes words that describe the content of the webpage.

Keyword
An informative word used in an information retrieval system to indicate the content of a document.
Landing Page
The section of a website accessed by clicking a hyperlink on another web page, typically the website's home page.

MegaMenu
Allow you to feature sought after information that may otherwise be buried within your site. They can also add extra visual appeal to reinforce your messaging.
Meta Tag
Snippets of text that describe a page's content, little content descriptors that help tell search engines what a web page is about.
Naming Convention
A set of rules for choosing the character sequence to be used for identifiers which denote variables, types, functions, and other entities in source code and documentation.

Page
A Page is where you add the content for your section. You can use Page Types to create your pages. You can change the layout of your pages and add other apps to your pages as required.
Page Type
Use Page Types to create your pages. A page type usually consists of a one-column page layout and includes one app.
Protocol
The official procedure or system of rules governing affairs of state or diplomatic occasions.

Section
A section is a collection of pages within a channel.
SEO
SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” It is the process of getting traffic from the “free,” “organic,” “editorial” or “natural” search results on search engines.
Shared Apps
Apps that allow you to use the same information posted in multiple places on your website, but you only want to edit it once.

Target (URL)
A Target URL is located under the Set Campaign page and defines the specific URL or URLs that a web campaign will appear on.
Tooltip
A message which appears when a cursor is positioned over an icon, image, hyperlink, or other elements in a graphical user interface.
URL
Uniform Resource Locator—This is the web address that you use to create hyperlinks. http://www.blackboard.com is an example.
