    2021-2022 Course Selection

    Course selections for the 2021-2022 school year will occur between February 1st through March 18th.

    Your study hall teacher will assist with your Microsoft Form course card so you may select your courses for next year prior to meeting with your School Counselor.

    VIRTUAL COUNSELOR

    Students and parents are encouraged to log onto Virtual Counselor to view their child's academic history, as well as FSA and EOC scores, schedules and much more. Course requests for the upcoming school year will be done through Virtual Counselor. You can log on and select Course Request from the drop down menu to view your child's course progressions and requests for the upcoming school year.


    ACADEMIC COURSE GUIDELINES

    The district has developed course progressions for Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, designed to assist parents and students choose the most challenging and rigorous courses. The criteria for these course recommendations include Florida Standards Assessment (FSA), Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT), Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), College Placement Test (CPT), as well as their grades in the respective academic course.


    COURSE OVERRIDE

    Parents/Guardians requesting to change from the recommended course progression must complete a Course Override form. If you have any questions, please contact our Guidance Department at 754-322-1270.
