Parkway Middle School of the Arts (PMS) is a distinguished magnet school in Lauderhill, Florida, offering specialized programs in Performing/Visual Arts and STEM education. With a commitment to provide a rigorous curriculum in both academic and Artistic fields, PMS equips students with the necessary skills for success in high school and beyond, fostering their Artistic and STEM abilities.

Program Offers

PMS offers cutting-edge Arts programs, including Art, Vocal, Theatre, Dance, Band, and Orchestra, along with minor programs such as Piano, Fashion/Costume Design, Digital Art, Music Technology, and Technical Theatre. Additionally, the STEM Program focuses on Digital design, Student Tech Team, Apps, Engineering Lab, Science through Culinary, and Accelerated Math & Sciences. Throughout the year, students are led by highly skilled instructors who tailor instruction to each student's skill level.

We provide county-wide transportation for those outside the 2-mile radius and apply for Performing and Visual Arts.

Do you have Field Trips?

Yes! Many of our magnet students get to go on trips to see performances, perform for themselves, and participate in workshops or competitions.
Can you do more than one magnet program at a time?

As of right now, students can only have 1 Magnet.
How many classes do you have?

We are a Block-Scheduled School. Each student will have a total of 8 classes, but they only have 4 per day. That means they have 1-4 on a black day and 5-8 on a gold day.
How often do students in the program perform?

Students can perform anywhere between 1- 6 times each school year
