Welcome, Class of 2028!
This is my 14th year at Nova High School and my 29th year with the School Board of Broward County. I am also a proud graduate of Broward County schools and I'm so thrilled to help guide you through your high school years. Nova High has a tradition of excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities, but more importantly, we work to ensure that students are provided with diverse opportunities for post-secondary options, whether that be college, military, or joining the workforce. Our staff is dedicated and ready to prepare you for your chosen path, but you must work just as hard as they do.
I encourage you to get involved in something that you enjoy or that you are passionate. Commit yourself to giving your best effort daily in school and outside of school. In addition, take advantage of the resources that are provided to you such as reading your Grade Level Canvas page announcements, listening to PA announcements, reading your email as often as you check social media, checking our website, and reviewing informational flyers posted around campus. These resources will showcase numerous opportunities that will benefit you socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.
I look forward to serving our newest scholars for the next four years. My door is always open.

Greetings, Titan Nation and the Class of 2026!
Now that we have successfully transitioned from middle to high school and had a great 9th-grade year, we are looking forward to even better and brighter things for your 11th-grade year!
It is truly my honor and privilege to serve our Nova Titans and this educational community. My daily actions are guided by three key principles: purpose, passion, and perseverance. My purpose is to support our faculty and staff to ensure our students receive the best education and high school experience possible so that each student graduates and seeks a post-secondary education. My passion is our students, and my goals are to help them feel valued, respected, and championed while becoming the best they can be. My promise is to persevere each and every day to continue the great traditions Nova High has long-established.
I am a native South Floridian, and a product of the School Board of Broward County, graduating from Miramar High School. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State – GO NOLES! - and received my Master’s from Nova Southeastern in Educational Leadership. Side note though, I was born and raised a CANE, so it is also all about the U.
My educational career started as a substitute teacher here in Broward County and then became an established teacher and leader for many years before entering administration.
I look forward to continuing to work with all of our students and stakeholders while making this school year and your next three years a great one!
