I am very excited and proud to be the 9th grade Assistant Principal at Monarch High School! I believe 9th grade is the foundation of an outstanding learning experience at Monarch. I am a proud product of Broward County Public Schools. I attended Peters Elementary, Bair Middle, and Plantation High. I graduated from the University of Florida (GO GATORS!) with my Bachelor’s degree in history and my Master’s Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. I then attended Florida Atlantic University where I earned my Specialist’s Degree in Educational Leadership. I was a high school for 18 years teaching all levels of students before becoming an Assistant Principal at Monarch High School. I am excited to see the class of 2027 grow into confident, well-rounded adults.

Let’s all get excited to Storm The Castle together!

    GO KNIGHTS!

  • Mrs. Kay Lang, Assistant Principal - 11th Grade

    Mrs. Lang

It is my honor and privilege to work with your children as they embark on this pivotal year of their high school journey. The 11th grade is a time of significant growth, exploration, and preparation for the future, and I am excited to support and guide them through this important period.

As we navigate this academic year together, I am reminded of the words of Nelson Mandela, who said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." I believe wholeheartedly in the transformative power of education and am dedicated to fostering an environment where your children can thrive, excel, and reach their full potential.

I look forward to a year filled with learning, discovery, and achievement. Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
