Tangela Williams-Daniel, Assistant Principal, Grade 6
Hello Gator Families!
I am ecstatic to serve as your scholar’s 6th grade administrator and Intern Principal. I look forward to meeting and working with you for the success of our students! As we focus on “Maintaining the Gold” to sustain our “A” rating awarded by the Florida Department of Education in July 2024. Our goal at SSMS is to provide each of our scholars with the support and services needed to ensure that our students reach their maximum potential. Additionally, it is my goal to establish a joint partnership with our parents, community members and stakeholders to assist me in accomplishing this. So, let us begin with partnering our way through new initiatives in education, as well as, enhancing those that are already in place, while simultaneously investing in our scholars' education. Please know that I have an open door, so let us embark on and enjoy our students' educational journey together. Let us make this new academic school year extraordinarily special with a relentless thirst for knowledge. I wish all of our Gators’ success, as we aim to “Maintain the Gold!”
Educationally Yours,
Dr. Tangela Williams-Daniel, Intern Principal

It is with great joy that I embark on another year of learning with your students. I am so proud of the work we have done together to accomplish our “A” grade. As your 7th grade Administrator at Sawgrass Spring Middle School, I am so excited to see my student’s growth both physically and cognitively over this past summer. As a proud graduate of UCF and FAU, I understand the importance of strong educational institutions and their impact on one's future. The administration, faculty, and staff work diligently to set high expectations while providing our students with relative and rigorous instruction. In addition, we include a focus on life skills and wellness to help our students prepare for anything that the future may have in store. Here at SSMS, we value your input. I look forward to connecting with all stakeholders committed to the success of our students. Let’s have an Awesome 2024/25 school year as we keep with our theme to “Maintain the Gold”!
Sincerely,
Denise DePasquale – Laurel, Assistant Principal
