    I am truly overjoyed and honored to have the privilege to serve as the 6th Grade Assistant Principal. The Shark family is full of amazing parents, staff, and community members that collaborate to make New River Middle School the best in Broward County. It is my responsibility to create an environment where students feel safe and respected. I am a firm believer in communication and in working together with families to ensure our common goal, which is your student’s success, happiness, and well-being.

     Welcome back sharks!

It is with great excitement that I welcome you all back for an amazing 2024-25 school year. I have been teaching in Broward County for over 10 years and I have a history of championing academic excellence within students while building capacity among my peers. I am committed to the welfare and enrichment of all students and devoted to the work necessary to ensure that New River Middle is a safe and welcoming school for all  stakeholders.

    I am pleased to announce that Broward County Public Schools is officially an “A” rated district, and my commitment is to catapult the students and staff of New River Middle to become an “A” school! That is why I am pledging to bring my “A” game this school year. This will not be an easy task, but I am confident that with the support of our parents, the dedication of our staff, and the hard work of students, we will meet this challenge!

We believe in creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

    Parents, your partnership is invaluable to us. We encourage you to stay engaged, communicate with us, and participate in the various events and activities we have planned for this school year. Together, we will celebrate achievements, rise above challenges, and cultivate a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom walls.
