Hello Riverglades Family,
I would love to welcome you to the beginning of what I am sure will be a wonderful new school year.  As a long-time member of our school’s staff, it is my hope to continue the rich tradition of Riverglades success. 

Riverglades is fortunate to have a wealth of talented and dedicated instructors supported by a gifted and professional support staff.  Our goal is, and has always been, to cultivate a safe environment that builds excitement around the learning process. We endeavor to instill a love of learning in our students while equipping them with an exemplary set of foundational skills. 

The true secret of our success, however, is you, our community. Those dedicated volunteers who give their time and talent to the cause of supporting the education of all our children are critical to Riverglades success.

I am looking forward to working with all our Riverglades family members, new and experienced, towards achieving our vision of educational excellence.

Dear Riverglades Families:

I am excited to welcome back our staff, students, families, and community partners for the 2021-2022 school year! This year our theme is “Back on Track for Success” and we are ready for the journey!

Over the past year and a half, we have been through many changes. As a school, community, and world at large, we have faced many challenges and obstacles. However, true to the spirit of who we are, the Riverglades community triumphed. Although school as we knew it had to be restructured in new, unfamiliar, and even uncomfortable ways many times over the last year and a half, the Riverglades community came together to ensure that our students had a safe, productive, and engaging learning environment.

Despite the circumstances, our teachers and staff continue to give their best efforts to ensure that our students thrive. No matter if we are fully online, hybrid, in person or home on quarantine, or face to face our Riverglades community always comes together to make sure that our students are afforded the best possible education.  The Life Skills that we teach our students as a core part of our Riverglades school culture continue to be evident in the attitude and effort of each child. I am proud of the growth that I have seen in our students and look forward to greater things this school year. I know that together with hard work, commitment, understanding and flexibility, we can blaze a trail in whatever path lies ahead.

As a leader, I am ready to continue the work we have been doing with an even more focused eye so that we can close any gaps that our students may have and optimize student achievement. I am excited for the new school year as we get “Back on Track for Success!” and I am proud to be a Riverglades Gator.
