Dear Boulevard Heights Families and Community,
I hope you all had a wonderful Spring Break, filled with rest, joy, and special moments to reconnect with your children. As we return to school on Tuesday, April 1, I am filled with excitement and gratitude for the journey ahead. This last quarter is a time of both reflection and determination—a time to celebrate how far our students have come and to give them the final push they need to finish strong.
At Boulevard Heights, our students are at the heart of everything we do. Each day, I am honored to serve as your Principal and to work alongside our incredible teachers and staff to provide the very best for our Bobcats. It brings me great joy to see our students grow, overcome challenges, and build confidence in their abilities. Their success is our success, and together, as a school community, we are Wild About Learning and committed to achieving our Wildly Important Goals.
I am also thrilled to share that Mrs. Jimenez has joined us as our new Assistant Principal! Mrs. Jimenez has been a part of the Boulevard Heights family for the past ten years, serving in various roles and making a lasting impact on our students and community. She is deeply committed to our school, and I know she will continue to help us grow and thrive in this new role. Please join me in welcoming her!
As we prepare for the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) and the many exciting milestones ahead, we remain dedicated to strategic, targeted instruction that meets the unique needs of every student. We are making every moment of learning count, ensuring that instruction is purposeful and impactful. With that in mind, I ask for your support in reinforcing the importance of daily attendance. Our school day begins promptly at 8:00 AM, and every lesson is carefully planned to maximize student success. Late arrivals and absences mean missed opportunities for learning, and we want to ensure that every child receives the full benefit of their education.
I also want you to know that while we strive for excellence, we are always looking for ways to grow and improve in how we support our students, families, and community. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. We invite you to access the Fourth Quarter Newsletter using the link below. our school survey using the QR code in this newsletter to help guide our efforts. Additionally, we encourage families to share their experiences by completing our customer service survey, available in our front office and within the newsletter. Your insights help us continue to evolve and serve you better!
As we head into this final stretch of the school year, I want to personally thank you for your partnership, trust, and dedication to your child’s education. Boulevard Heights is more than just a school—it’s a family. I am so proud of what we are accomplishing together, and I can’t wait to celebrate our students’ achievements in the months ahead. Let’s finish strong, together!
As always, I invite you to take an active role in our school community by attending family nights and SAC meetings and by joining our PTA. Furthermore, if you are interested in volunteering on campus or for any field trips, you must be cleared as a volunteer. The website for the volunteer background clearance is https://fl01803656.schoolwires.net/page/32043.
Having stated this, please know that I am always available if I can be of assistance. You may reach me at 754-323-4950.
With Bobcat Pride and a Heart Full of Gratitude,
Ms. Familia
