    The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:

    • an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
    • a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
    • a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

    Our childcare program provides a supervised learning and play environment for the students who attend our school. We offer a wide variety of age-appropriate activities and monitored homework time. Our childcare program provides a supervised learning and play environment for the students who attend our school.     Kids sitting on the ground YMCA of South Florida, Private Provider Approved by the School Board 

    YMCA of South Florida Before and after the school bell rings, children in our on-site program are given a safe environment to boost academic skills and develop healthy habits that will carry them throughout their lives, all under the guidance of caring adults. 

    Activities and Services Offered: 

    • Experienced, CPR & First Aid Certified Professionals
    • Arts and Crafts 
    • Cultural Arts
    • Small Ratio 
    • Hands-on STEAM based Curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math)
    • PATHS Social Skills Curriculum
    • YFit physical fitness and sports activities 
    • Homework assistance.
