    The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:

    • an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
    • a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
    • a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

  • Program Overview

    Our childcare program provides a supervised learning and play environment for the students who attend our school. We offer a wide variety of age-appropriate activities and monitored homework time. Our students have opportunities to learn new skills, socialize, and interact with their peers.

  • Registration Process

    Online Application

    Before you begin:

    • Parents must register online.
    • Google Chrome is required.
    • Incomplete applications are deleted daily at midnight.
    • Parents must use the student's 10-digit FSID number (06......)
    • You must complete a new application even if the student went to the childcare program the previous year.

    Parent(s)/guardian(s) must complete an application online at browardschools.com/bascc  starting July 24, 2024.

    Please note an application does not guarantee enrollment. Enrollment is based on availability. If the program has reached capacity, your child(ren) will be added to the program’s wait list.

  • Payment Information

    Program Cost 

    Student Registration Fee $30.00 per child

    Beforecare $79.00 per pay period

    Aftercare $158.00 + $5.00 (activity fee) = 163.00 per pay period

    5% Discount for SBBC employees in the Aftercare Program

    ***Please ask about our aftercare partial scholarships if you're families are in need. Your program supervisor can provide you with additional information.
