Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year.  I am looking forward to another wonderful school year at Manatee Bay Elementary (MBE).  A new year is a time to reflect and to count our blessings for being able to return to school and learn together.   

MBE is a school rich in the tradition of excellence where children are the focus.   I am very impressed with the professionalism and dedication of our staff, the parental support, and the students' hunger for learning.  I join in the partnership of all stakeholders involved in working together to ensure that our students experience success every day.   

It is the goal at MBE to provide all students with a safe and secure learning environment where they can thrive academically. Our teachers continue to dedicate themselves to preparing and delivering the best-individualized lessons for their students. By delivering the quality education that MBE is known for, our staff brings out the very best in each of our students. Everyone succeeds because our expectations are high and a high-quality education prepares our students for a very bright future.

It is a pleasure to be one of the administrative team members at Manatee Bay Elementary, and I am very excited about the new school year. I look forward to working with our outstanding students, teachers and staff in the upcoming school year in our continuous pursuit of educational excellence. I have worked in the District of Broward as an educator for over 30 years and will do my best to make a positive contribution to our school.

You can also stay informed of new happenings here at school and throughout the district by downloading the BCPS app for your cell phone. We keep our families informed throughout the year via our weekly message. If you have additional thoughts on how to improve communication between school and home, please let us know as we welcome your input.

I have a passion for working with children, ensuring they receive a positive learning experience in a safe environment, and the students at Manatee Bay are my number one priority.
