Get Acquainted with the New Focus Information Portal Ahead of the First Day of School

Back to school is right around the corner! Broward County Public Schools staff and the Parent and Community Involvement Task Force want to ensure you’re ready for the first day of school and are hosting the Parent University: Focus(ed) on Back to School webinar to show students and families how to register and use the new Focus Parent Portal being launched for the 2024/25 school year.

Parents must register to access Focus. The webinar, Parent University: Focus(ed) on Back to School, takes place on Wednesday, August 7, at 6:30 p.m., and will show users:

  • How to register for Focus and access the BCPS Connect app
  • Where to find back-to-school forms
  • Details on attendance, grade book, scheduling, report cards, transportation and communication
  • Supports available for Exceptional Student Education and English Language Learners
  • And much more.

Questions can be submitted through a chat feature and will be answered throughout the presentation. Closed captioning will be available in Spanish and Portuguese.
