Stranahan High School Students to Participate in Roundtable Discussion with National Black Caucus of State Legislators

NBCSL corporate roundtable members to hold roundtable discussion on youth leadership to empower and inspire student success.

WHY:
The roundtable will feature several NBCSL corporate roundtable members and legislators with wide-ranging, in-depth discussion on youth development and leadership, and the steps students can take to reach success in their journey through life. Among the topics: leadership, the reality of employment (how to get and keep a job), the importance of education, and goal setting. This year’s theme is L.E.A.D: Leadership, Excellence, Attitude, Determination.
The roundtable event is part of the NBCSL national conference, which takes place in Fort Lauderdale, December 3 – 7, 2019.
