Civics EOC performance increased by 10 percentage points and U.S. History EOC performance increased by seven percentage points.
BCPS highlights for 2022 results include:
- Science performance for grades 5 and 8 increased by four percentage points.
- Compared to the largest five districts in the state, BCPS recorded the largest performance increase for grade 8 Science and U.S. History EOC.
“We continue to show academic improvements across many grade levels. This is due to the dedication of our incredible teachers, administrators and staff, and the hard work of our students,” said BCPS Superintendent Dr. Vickie L. Cartwright. “Our strategic focus on accelerating early learning and providing academic interventions is creating strong educational foundations for our students.
