Cypress Bay High School Celebrates the Opening of New Classroom Building

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Takes Place on Monday, October 11, at 9:55 a.m.

WHAT:
Cypress Bay High School is celebrating the opening of its new lightning bolt-shaped
classroom building with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The three-story 900 Building replaced
portable classrooms. It can accommodate approximately 1,500 students and features 62
classrooms, labs, teacher planning rooms and administrative offices. The project is part of
the District’s SMART bond program, which also included renovations and improvements to
the campus, including safety and security.
