  • Clubs and organizations are a great way to help develop character and the skills that will benefit you in school, your career, and in life. Skills like commitment, leadership, effective communication, and being able to work successfully in a group all come from participating in a club or organization. Joining a club is a great way to make friends, develop leadership skills, and boost your college resumé.

  • eSports

    The eSports club is for the purpose of competing in online gaming matches for SBBC competitions. Specifically, the gaming scholars will compete against other participating schools in the games of Rocket League and Minecraft Education eSports. eSports is considered a sport and there are grade and attendance requirements in order for students to participate.

  • Crime Watch

    Youth Crime Watch (YCW) encourages positive peer pressure among students to take pride in their school through its series of youth crime prevention training programs and action projects. The YCW program is structured to teach leadership skills to students who volunteer to learn about school safety.

  • Choose Peace/Start With Hello/No Place for Hate

    These programs fulfill the needs of students seeking to work together collaboratively to Choose Peace/Stop Violence. Choose Peace is a county-wide violence prevention collaborative in Broward County, Florida. Its vision is for youth and families to thrive in safe and healthy neighborhoods, vibrant with opportunities for personal, educational and economic growth. Start With Hello & No Place for Hate are National Initiatives both are student led programs with the same vision as Choose Peace. All programs are designed to improve negative school climate.

  • First Priority

    • First Priority club is an 'Equal Access Act' student initiated, student led club (H.R. 5345 Equal Access Act, 98th Congress, 1994). Students voluntarily attend this faith-based club for the purpose of understanding the importance of living in relationship with God; to serve as a resource to help students enhance their spiritual lives and provide an opportunity to integrate beliefs into daily living; to provide members the occasion to grow in their faith and for them to develop into dynamic leaders on the campus and in the community; to increase the self-esteem and moral foundation of peers so that each member will develop a greater respect for the authority placed over them, pursue a lifestyle consistent to that outlined in the Bible and bring a message of hope to our campus.
    • Meetings take place on Mondays from 4:30 - 5:15.

    • Student Council provides the Nova Middle School community with opportunities to share their time, gifts, and talents in service to Nova Middle School, provide special events that promote school spirit, and provide activities and support a school environment that promotes high academic standards. Most importantly, Student Council provides the opportunity to work together with fellow Student Council members, fellow students, faculty, staff and administration to make Nova Middle School the best that it can be.

  • Nova Engineering Club

    • The Nova Middle School Engineering Club provides a forum for students to explore STEM fields through hands-on activities and participate in STEM challenges and/or competitions regionally and nationally. Membership will be restricted to participants competing in the competitions. 
    • Meeting Schedule - Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm until May 8, 2024, from 4:30 - 6:00 PM.

  • Future Florida Educators of America [FFEA]

    • Meeting Information: First Friday on each month at 9:00 AM in Jupiter, 3910
    • The Florida Future Educators of America (FFEA) program. The program provides a forum for students to become aware of career opportunities in education and nurtures their interest in teaching as a career. Students will attend district rallies quarterly throughout the year. Although it's sole purpose is to recruit teachers, FFEA caters to the needs of all students seeking a professional career.

  • Titans Step Team

    • Sponsor: Dr. Smith  
    • A Step Team is a team that performs a unique dance art form that originated in Africa. Stepping is a form of percussive dance in which the participants' entire body is used as an instrument to produce complex rhythms and sounds through a mixture of footsteps, spoken works, and hand claps. Students in Nova Titans Step Team learn various percussive step movements which will be performed at a variety of events throughout the school and county.
    • Meeting Schedule - First Meeting - Monday, 10/9 @ 9:00 AM, All other meetings will take place on Wednesday's prior to practice (11/4, 12/6,/2/7, 3/6, 4/3,/5/1), in Jupiter 3910 from 4:30 - 5:15.
