• BCPS Celebrates Take Our Children to Work Day Thursday, April 25, 2024

    Mark your calendars! Broward County Public Schools will celebrate Take Our Children to Work Day on Thursday, April 25, with the theme “Inspire 2 Aspire.”

    Designed to go beyond a typical career day, Take Our Children to Work Day allows students to experience a real workday firsthand. Take Our Children to Work Day is a District-approved field trip. Students will be granted an excused absence if they submit a completed field trip permission form by April 18.

    Students can spend the day at a workplace with a parent, guardian, adult relative or adult family friend. Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to get involved and showcase how classroom skills translate to real-world applications.

    In addition, all District schools, centers and administrative offices will allow employees to bring their children to work.
