    Parents and Guardians,

Let me be the first to welcome you to Griffin Elementary School for the 2021-2022 school year. This is my third year as principal of this A” rated neighborhood school in the City of Cooper City. I was also fortunate have worked here as the assistant principal for 10 years. Thank you for visiting our website.

Griffin Elementary is a hidden gem in the public school setting Our school is rich in history and traditions. We have a reputation for being compassionate, caring, and welcoming. When you enter Griffin, you will be greeted by our friendly front office staff. Touring the school, you will see our print-rich hallways, beautiful playground, innovative media center, and eco-friendly environmental center. This will give you a glimpse of the high standard of teaching and learning that is taking place within the classrooms. I am very proud of our dedicated staff and enthusiastic learners that makes Griffin “Someplace Special”. We are truly a “School Family” with a common purpose of doing what is best for the children.

Griffin loves volunteers and we received the Golden School Award for over 30 years. Our parents play a pivotal role in our school. We have a phenomenal PTA board and they are always looking for volunteers to spearhead different programs and initiatives.

This school year, we will be 100% face to face. Our number one goal will be to keep everyone safe and healthy. We will continue to follow the district policy with regards to safety, cleaning and masks protocols. We will also continue to work diligently to ensure that each child is working to his or her maximum ability.

Our theme this year is “DREAM BIG for a New School Year full of Possibilities”.
